The Stumbles Inn is a privately owned traditional freehouse providing a safe, secure social eating and drinking premises in the centre of Shepton Mallet. We were awarded the Safer Socialising Award on 23rd January 2008 and are proud to be the first pub in Mendip accredited with this award.

We have an excellent range of drinks including local sourced quality cask ales and ciders as well as various wines and spirits. You will find details of our cask ales on the Real Ale link above.

Our homemade food is made from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The staff will provide a friendly welcome and efficient customer service making the pub the perfect destination for special occasions, casual lunches or a pint and a friendly chat. We also provide business breakfasts and competitive outside catering; pleae ask for details.

Our historic Somerset town, home of the famous 'Babycham' perry, on the edge of the Mendip Hills, is ideally placed for the Royal Bath & West Showground,  the historic city of Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole caves, Bath and Bristol.

Shepton Mallet is undergoing exciting changes as many properties are being returned to a more traditional appearance with many frontages being renovated.
